PIERCE TRANSIT is currently hiring TRANSIT FACILITIES SPECIALISTS. PIERCE TRANSIT improves people’s quality of life by providing safe, reliable, innovative and useful transportation services that are locally based and regionally connected.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; and,
  • Two (2) years of experience in related custodial work, grounds keeping and facilities maintenance. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.


Special Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid Washington State driver's license at the time of hire.
  • Clearance is required prior to accessing Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM). Employees in this classification are subject to recurring background checks conducted by JBLM.
  • Must have the ability to perform the essential functions as described above including the ability to maneuver objects weighing up to fifty pounds.


Wages & Benefits:

  • $23.18 – $24.13 per hour

Session # 1: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Session # 2: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
