Advanced Manufacturing Prep (AMP) is a one-day in-person workshop developed by AJAC | Advanced Manufacturing Apprenticeships to help job-seekers navigate the various career pathways into the aerospace and advanced manufacturing industries.

This workshop is ideal for job seekers interested in apprenticeship preparation training—a proven method for
linking job seekers with registered apprenticeship opportunities. AMP will provide the following services in the one-day workshop:

– Insight into advanced manufacturing and AJAC's apprenticeships
– Precision measuring and shop math
– Develop industry-ready essential skills
– Resume and cover letter writing techniques
– Pre-qualify for program funding and human services
– Earn AMP completion certificate from AJAC

About AJAC: AJAC is a non-profit, state-funded registered apprenticeship organization who works across the Pacific Northwest in a variety of advanced manufacturing industries—partnering with employers, colleges, school districts, community-based organizations, and workforce development centers to bring apprenticeships to the 21st century.

AJAC has developed and implemented 12 high-growth, in-demand apprenticeship occupations to serve a variety of demographics, industries, and companies across the PNW. AJAC serves approximately 400 apprentices per year at close to 300 companies.
