SAFE Boats Hiring Event – March 23

Inspired by the rough waters and rocky shores of the Puget Sound, SAFE Boats wanted to completely rethink boat design from the human experience because the most stressful part about a boat, is actually being on the boat. This hiring event focuses on supporting the building and manufacturing of quality products for SAFE Boats’ customers and their mission.

Boat Builder

Responsibilities:

Installation of electrical and mechanical components
Outboard motors, Inboard engines, Jet drives
Fuel systems and filters
Main and auxiliary wiring harnesses
Interfaces and connects components like lights, radios, sonar, and heating

Skills:

Thorough understanding of 12V dc electrical systems
Layout, build, and install subsystems from schematics
General shop safety procedures
Basic math and measurement
Strong Communication
Critical Thinking

Wages, schedule, benefits:

$21-$32/hr, depending on experience
Monday-Thursday schedule
