EMPLOYER EXTRA: Maintenance Engineer 4
Extra Extra: Bates Technical College

Bates Technical College is looking for qualified candidates to fulfill a full-time Maintenance Engineer position in our Facilities & Operations department.

The Maintenance Engineer 4 acts as the senior lead to the Custodians and Maintenance Engineers working independently and ensuring work assignments are completed. Incumbents in this position perform highly skilled work demonstrating the ability to perform and lead all maintenance engineer functions for Bates Technical College. The Maintenance Engineer 4 requires advanced knowledge and trade skills in mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, welding, carpentry, and machinist work.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Six (6) years of work experience in building maintenance performing all phases of construction
- Two (2) years of experience as a lead worker in a facilities and operations setting
- Three (3) years of experience with electrical systems and working on digital HVAC computer controls systems, to include troubleshooting and repair
