CNC Machinist

Internship Wage: $18 – $24/hour

Intern Can Work Up To: 40 hours per week

Minimum Internship Length: 180 hours

Maximum Internship Length: 320 hours

Location: Sumner, WA 98390

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18+ years old.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening (We do not test for THC)
  • Individuals must be able to read and write in English, read a tape measure, use basic math skills, and lift up to 50lbs.
  • Use of hand tools – both power and non-power – will be required.
  • PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and gloves – where applicable – are also required.

Skills:

  • Gaining experience in operating various CNC machines for cabinetry production.
  • Learning to perform daily maintenance tasks to keep machines operational.
  • Ensuring the final products meet specific quality standards.
  • Developing skills in identifying and resolving machine-related issues.
  • Understanding and managing the workflow process in a cabinetry production setting.

Assembly Tech

Internship Wage: $16.24 – $22/hour

Intern Can Work Up To: 40 hours per week

Minimum Internship Length: 160 hours

Maximum Internship Length: 320 hours

Location: Sumner, WA 98390

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 16+ years old.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening (We do not test for THC)
  • Individuals must be able to read and write in English, read a tape measure, use basic math skills, and lift up to 50lbs.
  • Use of hand tools – both power and non-power – will be required.
  • PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and gloves – where applicable – are also required.

Skills:

  • Understanding detailed assembly processes for cabinet construction.
  • Gaining skills in using a variety of hand tools, both power and non-power.
  • Learning to inspect and ensure quality standards in finished products.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment.
  • Applying basic math and measurement skills in practical assembly tasks.

Shipping Loader

Internship Wage: $16.24 – $22/hour

Intern Can Work Up To: 40 hours per week

Minimum Internship Length: 160 hours

Maximum Internship Length: 320 hours

Location: Sumner, WA 98390

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 16+ years old.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening (We do not test for THC)
  • Prior experience with forklifts and pallet jacks is preferred, but not required. PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, and gloves – where applicable – are also required.
  • Individuals must be able to read and write in English, have basic computer skills, and lift/carry up to 100lbs

Skills:

  • Skills in receiving, inventorying, and staging cabinet products.
  • Techniques for efficiently and safely loading products for shipment.
  • Proficiency in using both a pallet jack and stand-up forklift.
  • Understanding the process of pulling products from shelving for delivery.
  • Adhering to safety protocols in handling and stacking products.

Sanding Technician

Internship Wage: $18 – $22/hour

Intern Can Work Up To: 40 hours per week

Minimum Internship Length: 160 hours

Maximum Internship Length: 320 hours

  • Must be at least 18+ years old.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening (We do not test for THC)

  • Building complex structures using wood panels, nail guns, and wood glue.
  • Understanding different types of wood and their properties in construction.
  • Developing skills in finishing techniques to enhance product quality.
  • Learning safe operation and maintenance of sanding and construction tools.

Paint Technician

Internship Wage: $18 – $24/hour

Intern Can Work Up To: 40 hours per week

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18+ years old.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening (We do not test for THC)
  • Use of hand tools – both power and non-power – will be required.
  • PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, full face respirator, and gloves – where applicable – are also required.
  • Individuals must be able to read and write in English and lift up to 50lbs

Skills:

  • Mastering the use of a hand-powered spray gun for various finishes.
  • Skills in scuffing and sanding products before painting to ensure proper application.
  • Learning to apply different types of finishes evenly and effectively.
  • Ensuring the finished product meets quality standards in appearance and durability.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment during painting processes.

Material Handler

Internship Wage: $18 – $24/hour

Intern Can Work Up To: 40 hours per week

Minimum Internship Length: 160 hours

Maximum Internship Length: 320 hours

Location: Sumner, WA 98390

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18+ years old.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening (We do not test for THC)
  • Prior experience with a forklift is preferred, but not required.
  • PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and gloves – where applicable – are also required.
  • Individuals must be able to read and write in English, read a tape measure, use basic math skills, and lift up to 75lbs.

Skills:

  • Skills in tracking and managing inventory of raw wood panels.
  • Proficiency in operating a sit-down forklift for material transportation.
  • Understanding the flow of materials to the production line.
  • Learning safe material handling and forklift operating procedures.
  • Techniques for timely and efficient delivery of materials to production areas.
