AJAC’s Manufacturing Academy builds foundational career pathways into aerospace and advanced manufacturing employment and apprenticeship opportunities. This pre-apprenticeship program helps to develop a person’s manufacturing skills and offers industry-focused certification.

AJAC, in partnership with WorkSource Pierce, offers a career technical education program that will teach essential skills and place graduates on the path to join the Advanced Manufacturing industry as entry-level apprentices.

The Manufacturing Academy program will prepare you for the thousands of open, living-wage positions across Washington State in assembly, production, processing, machine automation, machine operations, and maintenance.

Program Requirements

  • GED or High School diploma
  • English as Second Language (ESL)/English Language Level (ELL) level 3 or higher
  • Complete all application paperwork
  • Ability to attend class
