The Work Experience Program is designed to provide meaningful work experience and career development opportunities to Pierce County individuals. Participants can earn up to $5,000 while gaining valuable skills and building professional networks.

Eligibility Requirements
- Must reside in Pierce County and have the legal right to work in the U.S.
- Must be enrolled and approved by one of our eligible providers before starting your internship.

Career TEAM provides high engagement with an innovative technology approach to employment services for young adults ages 16 – 24 who are not connected to high school. Career TEAM connects young adults with opportunities to launch or continue a career pathway toward income stability and mobility by building educational and workforce skills.
The career pathway may include activities and connections to community and training providers, high school and GED completion programs, and internships. Each Young Adult will work with a dedicated Career Advisor who provides facilitation and navigation to and arrangements for academic, career or personal counseling, financial aid, childcare, housing, and other financial assistance that can be critical to their success.
