About Us
Adults with Learning Disabilities Foundation was envisioned in 1988 by Founder and CEO Felix Strozier. The foundation is a community-based action organization dedicated to bringing awareness to adult illiteracy by working with a team of volunteers and agencies promoting literacy throughout the country. Our mission is to provide tools that assist adults with learning disabilities. It’s estimated that 42 million adults in the United States face challenges with reading, writing, and comprehension—barriers that can affect graduation rates and increase the risk of living in poverty.
