Position Overview
As a Production Tech Intern at Full Out Competitions, you’ll gain hands-on experience in event production and operations, working closely with our Production Manager and event staff to help execute seamless events. This role is perfect for an individual looking to learn about event management in a fast-paced and dynamic setting, with a focus on technical production and event logistics.
- Minimum Age Requirement: 16
- Hourly Wage: $16.28 – $17.00
- Estimated Hours Per Week: 5
Key Responsibilities
- Event Support: Interact with athletes, parents, and attendees, providing assistance and information as needed.
- Equipment Setup & Breakdown: Follow instructions from the Production Manager to help with the setup and teardown of audio-visual and staging equipment.
- Event Operations: Work alongside staff and volunteers to ensure smooth event operations and address on-site issues efficiently.
- Customer Interaction: Maintain a friendly and helpful demeanor, engaging positively with all event participants and guests.
Skills & Experience You Will Gain
- Event Management: Learn the ins and outs of managing event equipment and supporting live events.
- Communication Skills: Develop experience in interacting with a variety of attendees in a customer service setting.
- Problem-Solving: Gain skills in addressing on-site event challenges effectively.
Required Equipment & Uniform
- Sturdy Work Shoes: Required for safe movement of equipment and long hours on your feet.
- Athletic Bottoms: Comfortable clothing appropriate for a production setting.
- Provided Tee Shirt: A branded Full Out Competitions tee shirt, which must be worn at all events.
Preferred Qualifications
- Coachable and Teachable: Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Friendly Demeanor: Positive attitude and ease in engaging with participants.
- Proactive: Readiness to assist and take initiative where needed.
Additional Requirements
- Background Check: Required for this position, as the intern will be in an environment with minors.
