  • Data Analyst / Technical Assistant

Intern Opportunity Details:

  • Internship Wage: $15.74 – $18/hr
  • Intern Can Work Up to: 40 Hours per week
  • Minimum Internship Length: 120 Hours
  • Maximum Internship Length: 300 Hours

Able to Host:

  • Up to 3 Interns at a time

Skills You Could Learn:

  • Collect and analyze data to support decision-making and improve center activities.
  • Maintain and update spreadsheets to track center activities and progress.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with equipment such as phones, TVs, and computers.
  • Attend bi-weekly center design meetings and assist with data collection and validation activities.
  • Manage inventory control and design an equipment checkout process.
  • Assist with identifying and evaluating training providers that align with priority sectors.
  • Assist with creating and distributing the Monthly WorkSource Newsletter.
  • Maintain center distribution lists and ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Plan and assist with facilitating digital literacy workshops to help participants develop essential technology skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proactive, helpful, can-do attitude to approach tasks with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
  • Some experience working with computers and Microsoft suite applications.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic work environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Neat, organized, and able to work independently and interdependently while maintaining a welcoming attitude towards the public.
