Jammin On The One is seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator Intern to support our production, inventory, fulfillment, and administrative processes. Intern Opportunity Details

  • Compensation: $16.66 – $20.00 per hour
  • Estimated Hours Per Week: 15
  • Location: Puyallup, WA (some flexibility for remote administrative tasks)
  • Minimum Age Requirement: 18

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with production tasks, including prepping materials, labeling, and packaging
  • Manage inventory of ingredients, packaging, and finished products; track levels and reorder as needed
  • Support order fulfillment for retail, wholesale, and online channels
  • Maintain production and sales records; generate basic reports for leadership review
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and local partners
  • Ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with food-handling standards
  • Provide administrative support such as scheduling, data entry, and light bookkeeping

  • Food production and small-batch manufacturing processes
  • Inventory management and order fulfillment systems
  • Vendor relations and local supply chain coordination
  • Use of point-of-sale and business management tools (Square POS, spreadsheets, etc.)

  • Reliable transportation
  • Business casual/comfortable work attire (food-safe practices required)

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable lifting up to 30 lbs and standing for extended periods
  • Reliable, independent, and takes initiative
  • Ability to work as part of a collaborative team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in food production, hospitality, or small business operations
  • Food Handler card (a plus, but not required)
  • Familiarity with spreadsheets, inventory tools, or POS systems (or willingness to learn)
  • Passion for sustainability, local food, and community impact
