Intern Title: Military Spouse Ambassador
• Wage: Minimum Wage to $20/hr
• Location: Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA98433
• Length: Most internships last between 160 to 320 hours and up to 30 hours per week.
SKILLS YOU MAY LEARN
As a Military Spouse Ambassador, you are essential to providing a welcoming and supportive environment for our clients. Your role includes:
• Direct client support via phone, email, or in person with exceptional customer service.
• Managing client flow and front desk duties, including scheduling and client check-ins.
• Support facilitations, briefings, and information.
• Referring clients to service providers like CSP, PACMTN, VIE 25, WorkSource, USO, MFLC, DSHS, Employment Security Division, GS Staff, or TAP Contract Team.
• Assisting in directing clients and supporting staff with administrative tasks.
• Manage social media content curation, scheduling posts, and responding as ERP representative.
PROFESSIONAL CODE OF CONDUCT
• Adherence to the highest standards of conduct, including prohibition of derogatory language and discussion of clients or staff in their presence.
• No use of phones or eating at the front desk.
• Awareness and sensitivity to cultural diversity.
REQUIREMENTS
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
