Internship Position Overview 

We’re looking for a Marketing Intern to join the creative heartbeat of Theory Real Estate, Edison Square, Radnor’s Restaurant, and Tacoma Connect. You’ll work directly with our Community Relations Manager, gaining hands-on experience in social media, digital storytelling, and content production. This is a real-world opportunity to build your creative portfolio, sharpen your video and marketing skills, and help amplify the story of community transformation in Tacoma. 

Intern Opportunity Details 

  • Wage: $16.66 – $18.00/hour 
  • Estimated Hours Per Week: Up to 20 
  • Internship Length: 120–320 hours 
  • Location: Tacoma-based with occasional evening/weekend events 
  • Minimum Age Requirement: 18 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Capture and edit short videos from real estate projects, events, and gatherings 
  • Help manage content calendars and post on Theory’s social media platforms 
  • Collaborate on content planning for recurring events like Tacoma Connect 
  • Participate in brainstorming, research, and idea generation 
  • Learn marketing systems and production processes across multiple brands 
  • Receive direct mentorship from Theory’s marketing leaders 
  • Support in campaign tracking, analytics, and reporting 

Skills the Intern May Learn 

  • Video storytelling and content editing 
  • Brand voice alignment and social media strategy 
  • Campaign planning and event promotion 
  • Cross-platform marketing (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) 
  • Collaborative creative workflows and digital tools 
  • Marketing across real estate, restaurant, and community brands 

Tools/Equipment Required 

  • Smartphone (other equipment provided if needed) 
  • Comfortable, event-appropriate attire 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Passion for creating social media content and short-form video 
  • Creative, dependable, and motivated 
  • Available for occasional evening/weekend events 
  • Passion for people, storytelling, and community impact
