Internship Position Overview 

We’re seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant Intern to support the President of Theory and our Community Relations Manager/Director of Tacoma Connect. You’ll help manage calendars, communication, and coordination across multiple companies, gaining firsthand experience in leadership, business operations, and team management. 

This internship is perfect for someone who thrives on structure, loves checklists, and is excited to learn how visionary ideas become real-world results. 

Intern Opportunity Details 

  • Wage: $16.66 – $18.00/hour 
  • Estimated Hours Per Week: Up to 20 
  • Internship Length: 120–320 hours 
  • Location: Tacoma-based with some remote flexibility  
  • Minimum Age Requirement: 18 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Track communications, projects, and deadlines across multiple brands 
  • Help manage email inboxes, calendars, meeting follow-ups, and notes 
  • Support outreach, CRM updates, and basic reporting 
  • Document meetings and translate them into action items 
  • Keep leadership aligned with weekly priorities and tasks 
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth project flow 
  • Gain direct mentorship from organizational leaders 

Skills the Intern May Learn 

  • Executive support and leadership coordination 
  • Calendar, email, and task management systems 
  • Business operations and organizational development 
  • Project management tools like Asana, Trello, or Notion 
  • Time management and decision-making frameworks 
  • Communication with internal and external stakeholders 

Tools/Equipment Required 

  • Smartphone 
  • Google Suite, Asana, and/or Canva access (training provided) 
  • Business casual or professional attire 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable 
  • Clear communicator who follows through consistently 
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Suite, Canva, Asana, or Slack 
  • Stays calm under pressure and enjoys supporting others 
  • Interest in leadership, entrepreneurship, or team dynamics
