Intern Title: Dental Assistant
Intern Opportunity Details
- Internship Wage: Minimum Wage to $18/hr
- Intern Can Work Up to: 20 Hours per week
- Minimum Internship Length: 120 Hours
- Maximum Internship Length: 320 Hours
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a medical scrub uniform. Business will provide protective eyewear.
- Must be a hard worker, fast learner, good team player attitude, outgoing, ability to follow directions, good physical health.
- Must High school diploma or GED.
Skills the Intern May Learn
- Gain proficiency in dental assisting terminology and essential chairside assisting techniques.
- Develop hands-on experience by supporting clinical procedures and patient care alongside licensed dental professionals.
- Participate in operations of a nonprofit free clinic, learning about community healthcare services and patient outreach.
- Enhance communication and organizational skills while assisting with administrative tasks and patient scheduling in a clinical setting.
