Internship Position Overview

Kyla Care Therapy is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant / Intake Intern to support our virtual operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills who is also interested in content creation and healthcare communication. Interns will gain practical experience in administrative tasks, intake support, and digital branding, while learning how to navigate HIPAA-compliant systems in a healthcare setting.

Intern Opportunity Details

  • Internship Wage: $16.66 – $18.00 per hour
  • Estimated Hours Per Week: 20
  • Minimum Age Requirement: 18
  • Location: Virtual

Skills the Intern May Learn

  • Content creation using Canva
  • Strategic branding and campaign development
  • Social media marketing across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Analytics tracking and engagement reporting
  • Caption writing and visual planning
  • Scheduling and management using SocialBee (training provided)
  • Understanding HIPAA-compliant communication in healthcare settings

Tools/Equipment/Supplies Required

  • Personal computer or tablet
  • Reliable internet connection
  • Canva (access provided)
  • SocialBee (access provided)
  • Google Workspace (access provided)
  • Headphones or microphone for virtual meetings (recommended)

Requirements

  • Must be 18 or older and eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Must sign confidentiality and HIPAA compliance agreements
  • Complete onboarding in content strategy, privacy, and tools
  • Attend virtual check-ins for supervision and feedback
  • Submit draft content weekly and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest in reproductive or mental health content
  • Basic Canva or graphic design experience
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms
  • Clear writing and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with remote support
