    Responsibilities:

    • Handle customer inquiries and requests
    • Increase customer satisfaction by providing quotes and cross sell insurance products
    • Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns
    • Document and update customer records based on interactions
    • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Good PC skills, math skills, and ability to prioritize and multi-task
    • Positive and professional demeanor

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Prior experience with property and casualty, life, health, or disability insurance will give you an advantage
    • Strong analytical skills, conflict resolution skills, and positive attitude
    • State insurance license or ability and interest in getting California Insurance licenses
    • Experience with phone-based or in-person customer service, ideally with a sales component
    • An associate’s or bachelor’s degree

    Farmer’s Insurance is now recruiting for Protégé Apprentice Agents in University Place. This is a one-year paid internship being hosted by a Mentor Agency Owner.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Meet Production Requirements to stay in and graduate the program
    • Mentor Agency Owner stipulations will apply
    • 24 months to complete all eligibility requirements in place at time of appointment

    Requirements:

    • Successful licensing within 30 days and completion of all required modules in first week
    • Required to write a minimum of 18 P/C policies and 1 Life monthly
    • Solicits and writes new business for own specialist department
    • Provides underwriting and rating for new accounts
    • Additional requirements determined when hired

    Wages: One-year internship – $2,500/month plus bonuses

    District Mentors are responsible for housing the Protégé Agent and paying the required salary plus any other agreed upon bonuses. The Mentor and Protégé Agents will enter into a contract listing the above items as well as other internal items that the contract states at the time of hiring.

    Farmer’s Insurance is now recruiting for District Associate Agents in University Place. The Associate Agent Program provides business professionals seeking an entrepreneurial startup opportunity with access to a 24-month business support program and a nationally recognized brand. You will have the opportunity to work with representatives of the Companies who can help you develop additional skillsets you can leverage in your business.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Work out of your own, fully branded Farmer’s Insurance Office with no overhead
    • Receive all new business commissions you write and any renewal commissions when those new business commissions renew
    • 24 months to complete all eligibility requirements in place at time of appointment

    Requirements:

    • Active property, casualty, life and health licenses
    • Achieve $75,000 in cumulative New Business Gross Folio Premium (GFP) within 12-24 months after appointment date. These must be written in the Associate Agent’s producer code. Eligible New Business GFP is capped at $5,000 per policy and excludes CEA, Flood and Kraft Lake business.
    • If meeting all applicable eligibility requirements, additional agent appointment opportunities may be available

    Wages: Commissioned based

    *Approximately 5 months after graduating and starting their selected full-time entry point, Farmers will pay an additional bonus up to 30K
