    • We’re hiring up to 30 temporary Fantasy Lights employees at $17.38 per hour.
    • The job entails outdoor work, during evening hours.
    • Fantasy Lights will run from 11/23/24 to 1/5/2025.
    • Shifts are typically 3-5 times per week, with work hours from 4:30 – 9:30 p.m.
    • Temporary positions do not receive benefits.

    Avenues To Opportunities: A Community Engagement Resource Fair on June 5th

    Come join us for this community resource fair where you can engage with local organizations that serve your needs. These organizations provide supportive services to help remove barriers that people often face in our community.

    To accomplish this, community partners and organizations have come together to deliver services at no cost to you. That includes a free meal for the first 300 people from one of three food trucks providing lunch at this event.  You are invited to participate in this event and be part of a collectively positive impact in the community.

    This annual job fair event features local employers and campus departments who are ready to meet Pierce College students, alumni and community members!

    These events are open to the public and are a great opportunity to explore career pathway, employment, or internship options. We encourage you to dress professionally, bring copies of your resume, and be prepared to discuss your education, experience and career goals. You will also have the opportunity to have your resume professionally reviewed by WorkSource staff. Students can connect with Job & Career Connections prior to the event for help creating or updating their resume or for questions about navigating a job fair.

    This event will be held at both campuses:

    • Fort Steilacoom campus –  Tuesday, May 21
    • Puyallup campus – Thursday, May 23

    Connect with hiring County departments on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at Pierce County’s Career Fair. Come talk with hiring managers and current staff about opportunities to work for the County, what it’s like to work here, and more.

    The County has dozens of full-time, part-time and seasonal opportunities available right now. Representatives from many departments will be on hand, including the Assessor-Treasurer’s Office, Parks, Courts, Sheriff’s Department, Planning and Public Works, and more.
