SAFE Boats Hiring Event – March 23

Please join us on Thursday, March 23 from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the WorkSource Pierce Tacoma office.

Hiring Positions for:

• Boat Builder
• Fabricator
• Marine Systems Installer 2
• Welder

Responsibilities:

• Installation of electrical and mechanical components
• Outboard motors, Inboard engines, Jet drives
• Fuel systems and filters
• Main and auxiliary wiring harnesses
• Interfaces and connects components like lights, radios, sonar, and heating

Skills:

• Thorough understanding of 12V dc electrical systems
• Layout, build, and install subsystems from schematics
• General shop safety procedures
• Basic math and measurement
• Strong Communication
• Critical Thinking

Wages, schedule, benefits:

• $21-$32/hr, depending on experience
• Monday-Thursday schedule
• Paid time off 401k,

Shifts: Multiple
